all my bases, and found this gem and had to reblog it!

skirt: topshop | leggings: zara |  wedges: Gap | bag: Alexander Wang

Had a bar-hopping excursion in the Spitafields neighborhood of London,
after work one day. This is my first post in a very long time, so I will
explain: This summer I landed an internship at .Cent Magazine in London.
This was my first time in the UK, and I straight up fell in love...

en pointe?

dress: club monaco | pumps: bcbgmaxazria
clutch: juicy couture | headband: h&m | necklace: forever 21 | mascara: diorshow |
nail polish: essie "absolutely shore" | cheek stain: benefit "high beem" | perfume: miss dior chérie

Bonsoir bloggers! I appologize for my absence for the past week, I've been jetting around, enjoying the beautiful summer and all the parties, shopping, festivals, and more shopping that goes with it. No worries, I am going to make up for lost time by trippling my post fequency and outfits. Also, this wednesday I leave for the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, so expect lots of new outfits, as I will be taking my computer with me! This outfit is inspired by my life in ballet, the bcbg pumps are designed to look like pointe shoes and the high beam by benefit(which gives the cheeks a luminescent look) is always a favourite of my own when performing and in general. The rest of the outfit is very feminine in detail, so I chose to pair it with my dark club monaco dress for contrast, though I feel the cinched waist and bodice unify the look, making it very prima-friendly. Enjoy!

sheerly neon + neutral

 sunglasses: burberry | bracelet: india
bag: kate spade | wedges: urban outfitters | jeans: anthropologie

tunic: club monaco | brazier: urban outfitter

You can't really due to the filters on the pictures, but this was my way of playing up sheers, while still being on the more conservative side, since I'm currently in a small town, where typically things like sheers and exposed bras are taboo. Since my tunic from club monaco was a nude color, I paired it with my neon orange kate spade bag and bright violet wedges for contrast. I hope you like it! xoxo, Riley

a very delayed post

A very delayed post, from a day overzealous with procrastination and distain...mostly due to finals in school this week. Fear not friends, I have pictures, but due to my current state of nothing but studying, putting off studying, and sleeping, I've neglected to form an outfit around it...yet. So this is a picture of my Chloé aurore medium leather bag that I got from net-a-porter on top of the cute box they packaged it in for free(I recommend shopping with net-a-porter for great customer service!) in my closet. Enjoy!

spring time in the south

top: juicy couture | belt: anthropologie | skirt: h & m
heals: h & m
bag: club monaco

Today, as I anxiously waited for the arrival of my new purchase, Chloé's aurore medium leather bag, I decided to take a few pictures of my outfit. Nothing fancy, and you can't see my skirt (sorry, bad photographer), but it hits about mid thigh, and has a slight un-even hemline on either sides. It cost about $5, and is a seafoam green/mint julep, but you can practically get it in any color at h & m. Also, my belt is pretty jaded in the picture, but have no fear, I love it, and it will thus relapse in many more pictures to come. My bag came in the mail from net-a-porter.com, and I will post pictures this weekend when I have lots from my sister's graduation. Surprise surprise, I had yet another interview thursday, at a smaller boarding school in the south, and I feel pretty confident in my interview. The only downside is they don't allow boarders to have cars, which one would expect of a new england boarding school, but in the south where everything's so spread out....I'm kind of dissapointed, but that's no deal breaker. Wish me luck!

uneven hemlines

Wide-leg pants can kiss my ass, I'll stay with uneven hemlines and trousers! Up and coming trend to wear right now is the uneven hemline.
